Brangelina!

Brad and Angelina have moved in together!  I can’t believe it!  I almost want to say that I will never watch one of their movies again.  I mean, they have just been completely LYING the last few months, and now they are shacking it up.  BLECK.  At least they didn’t move in together in the house that he built with Jennifer.  At least he could stay away from that.  I really feel like he has no heart what so ever.  Because if I would ever think of getting rid of the bombshell for ugly big-lips I would smack myself SILLY.  Seriously.  I hope that they both enjoy the next two months because we know it will end as soon as Angelina is making a new movie with another big star.  Billy Bob, Colin, Brad. . . . who do we think will be next?  Perhaps Tom Cruise?  Can he bring her to the dark scientology side after he as finished molding Katie into his Stepford Wife? Could it be?  Tomgelina?

I am around

But tired.

Tonight we had a goodbye party for Kacey.  And everyone else got out without crying.  It just hit me that she is leaving.  No more of her laughter at parties, no more person to talk to about my teeny bopper fantasies, and my heart aches.  I know I am a big fat baby, but I can’t help it.  I am emotional.  Sue me.

I wanted to see this, but for some reason Matt decided that he would rather go with his friends. I hold it against him on a daily basis.

I highly recommend you playing with this because I just about peed my pants.

(Warning - I used a picture of Gray, Mini on Vince Vaughan's face.  Surprsingly, it was still funny.  :) )

I am so glad sometimes that I am not single.

And for the record I promise to never never never never do this to any of my close friends without prior written approval that has been notarized by a legal representative.

Rain, rain come again!

Ah, the monsoons are about to start here in Arizona.  They are saying that the 'official' start to the monsoon season was last Monday.  So far we have gotten some lightning, which brings fires, and dust.  My kind of storm.  Since the windshield wipers are still possessed by the devil in my truck (see previous tale of anti-Christ phenomenon) I have gotten the pleasure of dealing with spit (aka: sprinkles) dabbed with tons of dirt.  My kind of wake-up.

Since we get so little rain my dogs are frightened of lightning and thunderstorms.  During such events they think the perfect thing to do is to poop and pee all over my floor.  This however is not my favorite part of the storms, even though thinking of me on my hands and knees cleaning up shit might bring a smile to your face, it certainly does not to mine.

But what I do look forward to is the thunder.  It is the one thing that gives me quite a thrill. A good clap of thunder can make my heart beat pretty fast and put a grin on my face from ear to ear.  Here are some good pictures that I pulled from azcentral.com to make ya'all outside of Phoenix JEALOUS.

Hope you have a great weekend!  We are supposed to get part of Hurricane Emily rushing our way so I am sure that it will be oodles of fun!

There I go again getting on my soap box. . .

I’ve never been one to understand hatred.  I’m one to push toward compassion and love.  I always try to be as open minded as possible.  I love to learn different cultures and belief systems in order to understand what drives these individuals in their lives.  It is for this reason that I don’t understand why people think that the answer to their bigotry and idiocy is to kill innocent people with bombs in public places.  London has been hit for the second time this month.  You hear daily bombings in Israel and Iraq right now.  What drives these suicide bombers to think that the only solution to their plight is to destroy the lives of others?  It not only brings a negative aspect on to their cause, but makes many think of them as nothing more than cowards and killers for not finding another way to express their frustration.

I hope that someday people understand that the only way to live in this world with others is accept that we all have different beliefs and that is okay.  In fact I hope people come to love these differences.  This melting pot is beautiful and gives every person an opportunity to have a better understanding for what moves people and brings them joy.

But for now I pray that the people are London are given some peace of mind that no one perished in the latest bombings and have hope that this doesn’t occur again.

Good funny. Took me a second to get it. . .

The French Leader got a coded message from Bush Administration.
It read: S370HSSV-0773H
The French were stumped and sent for the French Information Agency.
The FIA was stumped too, so it went to the Russians.
The Russians couldn't solve it either, so they asked the Germans.
The Germans, having received this same message during W.W.II from the Americans, suggested turning it upside down ...

I would walk 500 miles

So I read that a person should walk at least 10,000 steps a day to be healthy.  They say that it only takes 5 miles to get those 10,000 in.  Now this doesn’t freak me out for myself, but it does freak me out for the number of people who don’t complete this.  Without working out I typically can get in five miles just between my job and all of my other daily activities.  Add in a work out and I have successfully surpassed this amount.  But they say that a lot of people walk less than 700 STEPS a day.  700.  That is a half mile.  I guess they get up, sit to get ready in the morning, walk to their garage, park right in front of the door at work, never leave their desks, and go straight home after work.  Because seriously how could you do ANYTHING and not get in over 700 steps.  Just going to the bathroom here at work I use over 50 steps (I of course counted, I am a geek). I think we need to find these people and help them overcome their sedentary lives.  Show them the big outside world that they are missing out on.  PUT THE CONTROLLER DOWN!  WALK AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER!  And live life!

(I’m stepping down from my soap box now)
